Assessment for collateral loan or sale

If you have some valuable items, it can be very useful to exchange them for some cash now and here, either through pawn loan or selling. How you benefit from this is up to you – both options have their pros and cons, and the best choice often comes down to your personal feelings about what you sell, the value of the item and the speed you need for the money.

Below you will find a full list of both pawn loan and sales; so you can make an informed and favorable decision on how to best find the value in your possessions, whether you want to keep them or not.

What is the difference between sales and pawn loan

When you pledge an item, you are actually just pledging the item as collateral for a short-term loan. We offer you a certain amount (based on the value of the item) under the agreement that you repay the money within a certain time frame. We keep your item in a safe place for the duration of the loan. Once you have repaid all amounts owed (plus interest) within the agreed time frame, you will receive your item back. If you do not repay the loan, we can sell the item to recover any losses.

When you sell a valuable item, however, you lose your ownership of that item as soon as money changes hands. There are many different ways to sell many different valuable items, and some methods can give you more money than others to sell the same thing.

Which method works best for you may not be as obvious as it first appears. Before you make your decision, check out the pros and cons below.

Pawn loan or sale?

pawn

Pawn loan

Pros
  • YOU MAKE THE MONEY SAME DAY - When you pledge an item, you receive the money with an instant transfer or cash.
  • EASY TO GET A LOAN - Because a mortgage loan is based solely on the value of your item and not on your income, expenses or credit history, everyone can get a loan from PANTSAT.DK. Even if you are in RKI.
  • DISCRETION - When you go to PANTSAT.DK it is done with complete discretion. They offer to pick up items from customers with especially valuable items, or close the store if you wish. Of course, they also store all your information securely and confidentially.
Cons
  • YOU CAN LOSE YOUR OWN - If you do not renew the contract or repay the money with interest, you lose your valuables.
  • The mortgage lender retains the item during the LENDING PERIOD - Because the loan is secured in your valuables, the mortgage lender retains the item until the loan is fully repaid. The exception is cars that can be retained through a leasing agreement.
sell

Sell

Pros
  • YOU CAN GET MORE MONEY - If you sell in the right place at the right time. You can potentially make more money by selling a product than by mortgaging it, but only if you are able to find the right buyer.
  • YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY PAY THE MONEY BACK - Once your item is sold and you have the money, you do not have to repay it over a specific period of time that you would have with a mortgage.
Cons
  • IT CAN TAKE A LONG TIME TO SELL AT THE RIGHT PRICE - It's convenient to sell through sites like Facebook Marketplace, Lauritz, Bruun & Rasmussen and DBA, but some items may take a while to sell and you may not get the price you was hoping for. You may have to deal with a number of people who ask questions about your item, and you will probably spend a lot of time selling the item.
  • DISCOUNT - When selling privately you often have to give a discount in the price. On average, rebates are up to 20-30% of the prices you look at, for example. DBA
